Community Commitment

What We Do

Each year Auxiliary Officers provide almost 1,000 hours of volunteer service.  They function as court bailiffs, and direct traffic at town events such as Fire Prevention Night and the Fall Festival.  Members also provide crowd control at high school football and basketball games, numerous parades, and 1st Night Celebration.  Auxiliary Officers also carry out uniformed foot and bicycle patrol in the business district during Candle Light Shopping; summer-time Friday night concerts; and furnish security for the summer Craft Fair.  Auxiliary Officers are trained to respond to local emergencies, natural disasters and assist the Camden County Fire Police.
